With over 25 years of experience in theatre direction, playwriting, and production, I’m passionate about bringing stories to life and creating unforgettable experiences for audiences of all ages.
THIS IS ME
As Theatre Manager at The Spotlight Theatre, I oversaw the daily running of our 521-seat venue — programming exciting seasons of entertainment, managing budgets, and writing and producing our much-loved Christmas and Easter pantomimes.
Before joining The Spotlight, I spent 15 years with Millfield Arts Centre and the Dugdale Centre, where I progressed from Operations Manager to Creative Producer and Deputy Manager. During that time, I helped shape the artistic vision of both venues, developing new work, supporting emerging artists, and ensuring every production ran safely, smoothly, and within budget.
Over the years, I’ve written, produced, and directed a wide range of productions — from classic pantomimes like Cinderella, Aladdin, and Jack and the Beanstalk, to original plays such as The Jury and The Coffee Shop Monologues, as well as family puppet musicals including Santa’s Big Adventure and Hansel and Gretel. My work has been staged at venues including Hoxton Hall, Millfield Theatre, Dugdale Centre, The Broadway Barking, and The Spotlight Theatre.
Trained at Mountview Theatre School and Rotherham College of Arts and Technology, I combine a deep artistic understanding with the practical leadership needed to run successful productions and venues. I’m equally at home developing creative ideas, managing complex projects, or cueing a show from backstage.
